Team Leader - Lifeguard Host

H2O Xtream is an award winning aquatic centre and offers a vibrant, action-packed and rewarding working environment.

This is a full-time senior position leading a team of qualified lifeguards who look out for people's safety and enjoyment. You'll have complete responsibility for the day-to-day operations of poolside, staff, water treatment, customers, and health and safety, which means there's plenty of opportunity for you to build on your already solid leadership skills.

What's more, you'll manage the facility when required, so you'll be comfortable identifying potential risks and preventing them arising.

Staff management experience is preferable, not essential, but either way you'll have a background in customer service which means you know how to keep clients happy.

It goes without saying that you will be a strong swimmer. You will also be a great communicator, and easily relate to people of all ages and from all walks of life. You'll be able to think on your feet in emergency situations, and you'll have the flexibility to work shifts, as we're open seven days a week.

You will benefit from free training and qualifications to become a lifeguard as well as in areas such as Advanced First Aid, and Community and Aquatic Recreation.
