Akarana is considered to be one of Auckland's best golf courses. With an inner city location and easy access to the airport our membership is strong. We are a busy facility hosting both our members as well as visiting golfers of all abilities. We pride ourselves on being known as the friendliest club around where everyone is welcome. Our present general manager (who has been involved with the club for fourteen years) is moving on to further his career so we are looking for a suitable candidate to continue the work of managing the golf club.

Reporting to the Board of Directors the General Manager's role encompasses all operations of the club. The successful candidate will therefore possess a strong management background with experience working in a similar role. We are looking for a strong leader with a positive 'can do' attitude and great interpersonal skills. Sound communication skills are essential. Although not essential, an understanding of the club environment will be an advantage.
