Member Services Manager

Y-Fitness, the health and fitness division of YMCA Auckland, currently operates 9 Y-Fitness clubs across Auckland and Hamilton, and provides a quality fitness experience at affordable rates. In 2009 we won 4 categories at the national fitness awards and continually strive to improve the standards and service within our facilities.

Reporting to the Fitness Operations Manager, we are now seeking a full-time Member Services Manager who is enthusiastic and results driven to join our dedicated team. This role will provide support and training for the centres with regards to sales and retention processes, including ongoing member communication, as well as assisting in the implementation of Y-Fitness campaigns and promotions. Coordinating and looking after our existing corporate members and partnerships as well as identifying potential external partnerships with businesses and community groups, is also a key aspect of this role.

You will have experience in managing sales processes as well as driving results, and be capable of motivating and inspiring the Membership Sales team through your strong leadership skills. You will need to possess proven presentation and administration skills including intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft packages.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly build a rapport with people of all backgrounds and levels are essential. You will also require a high level of attention to detail and exceptional organisation skills. You will be commercially knowledgeable and ideally have a fitness background or knowledge of the fitness industry.

A full Drivers Licence is also a requirement as the role involves visiting all of our centres on a regular basis.
