Sales and Marketing Manager

Are you passionate about the Health and Fitness industry? We are seeking an experienced, driven and dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager to join the gym team.

12 Month term Parental Leave Cover, starting early 2021

Arena Fitness amp;amp;amp;amp; Boxing is West Auckland’s premium full-service gym. We are a commercial Fitness Centre located in The Trusts Arena - the home of sports, events, expos, conferences and functions. Our modern Fitness Centre offers a great atmosphere for our staff and members with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, a spacious group fitness studio and boxing studio, indoor sprinting track, six basketball courts and an Olympic outdoor running track.

We are seeking an experienced, driven and dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager, who is passionate about the Health and Fitness industry, to oversee the sales activities and marketing strategy at the Fitness Centre. This includes membership sales, promotional activities, daily Social Media content and general administration with the aim of driving the business forward.

About the role:
• Acquisition: handle sales enquires, follow up, book prospect tours and membership conversion
• Customer relationship management
• Design a structured annual marketing plan
• Management of marketing campaigns
• Outreach to local businesses and organisations
• Execution of daily Social Media activity
• Understand and actively promote the sale of all products and services available
• Complete all membership administrative duties
• Liaise and report to the Gym Manager

Apply if you:
• Have relevant experience in Sales and Marketing
• Have outstanding communication and rapport building skills (verbal and written)
• Have the drive to achieve revenue targets
• Have a high degree of integrity, determination and initiative
• Have the confident ability to interact and engage with people
• Are energetic and self-motivated
• Have high attention to detail
• Have current Fitness Instruction Qualifications and First Aid Certificate (not required, but beneficial)
• Are a current NZ resident
