Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) - The ASCA is the Peak Body for Strength and Conditioning professionals in Australia.

The Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) is the industry and national peak body for Strength and Conditioning in Australia. It was established in 1992 to look after the interests of Strength and Conditioning Coaches and to give the industry a voice in discussions and negotiations with service providers.

It is the professional /educational body for strength and conditioning in Australia. Coach education is a central component of the functeions of the ASCA. This is conducted through accreditation courses that are recognised through the National Coach Accreditation Scheme administered by the Australian Sports Commission, updating seminars and through the ASCA official journal 'Journal of Australian Strength and Conditioning'.

The ASCA is the Peak Body for Strength and Conditioning professionals in Australia. The Australian Strength and Conditioning Association is the professional development body for Strength and Conditioning Coaches in Australia, representing over 3000 Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coaches involved in coaching athletes/teams at all levels of participation from the club through to Olympic and Professional Sport levels The ASCA is recognised internationally as an industry leader via international affiliates in USA, ASIA, NZ and the UK.

The aim of the ASCA is to Bridge the Gap between sports science and practical application.
