Senior Gym Supervisor (South)

Our dynamic team at AUT Sport and Fitness Centres is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and dedicated person to take up the role of Senior Supervisor at the AUT South Campus Fitness Centre located at Manukau.

This is an extremely diverse role which involves the management and administration of all services, programmes and facilities provided by the Centre. The person will be responsible for the day to day running of the Centre including the gym floor, reception, membership sales, frontline customer service and general office duties.


The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification and directly related practical experience in the field of exercise assessment, exercise prescription and fitness centre management. Must be REPs registered and First Aid qualified.


Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills are required with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines to ensure that the Centre runs efficiently. The successful applicant must have the ability to work alone, as well as manage a small team of part-time staff.
